Amanda found her love for fitness in college when she realized that the sports teams (softball and fencing!) she was on in high school were apparently the only things keeping her fit. She began running (casually) and has explored almost every type of exercise from spinning, to barre, to Zumba and landed on CrossFit six years ago shortly after having her first child. Through that time she started to realize the impact that working out and the endorphins it created had on her mental state and depression. Becoming a mother only amplified Amanda’s need for the endorphins and adrenaline and she began to understand the desperate need for all mother’s to “move their meat” in order to be stronger, healthier and happier for their families and more importantly, for themselves. She is currently in the process of getting her Masters in Health and Wellness Management to assist her in furthering her cause. She is new to Fit4Mom but is ridiculously excited to be sharing her knowledge and love of health and wellness in the new Body Back program and looks forward to inspiring change, health and happiness in every class. Oh, and she has two boys (4 & 6) and has been blissfully married to the amazing Jon Simon for ten years.
Sorry, we don't have any schedule info for this month.
